Spring is in the air! Finally!
What I love about Spring in New England is all of a sudden, after a long, gray winter, one day everything just turns green. There are suddenly leaves on the trees, and as the days warm up and I can finally put the coats into the closet (not too soon, I don't want to jinx it!)
In those last weeks of Winter, my thoughts turned to the coming Spring and Summer and dreaming of the warm sun, blue skies, and the scent of herbs and flowers growing in the garden. I created the Midsummer Collection to bring everything I love about the garden into my home, so I can enjoy it no matter the weather outside!
The Midsummer Collection is our most ambitious offering yet, featuring a variety of fragrance objects such as candles, wax melts, reed diffusers, room and linen sprays, as well and hand and body lotion sets.
Modern Garden Candles

Sunday Market
The new classic. Bright and green, this scent leads with the unmistakeable tomato vine and lemon, and blended with herbs and green scents, this one is such an incredible scent. And the container is a terracotta pot that was created for candles, but it looks like it came right out of the garden. This candle was created to make you feel like you're wandering in an outdoor market on a sunny Sunday morning.
Herb Garden
Rosemary, Sage, Garden Mint, this scent brings into your space the refreshing smells of a lush herb garden. There's nothing quite like picking fresh herbs from the garden to create something beautiful to eat, and this candle fills your space with a refreshing, uplifting scent of fresh herbs, whether you like to cook or not. The container is a light gray terracotta pot, a little modern twist on a classic, just like this scent.
Garden Party
This standout fragrance features some of my favorite Spring flowers- cherry blossom, peony, lily, and is grounded in a subtle vanilla and warm amber base. An absolute dream of a floral candle.
Seaside Rose
This fan favorite scent features a lovely classic rose, sea salt, and sea air with a warm woody base. Inspired by my love of the Seacoast, this is a lovely floral perfect for a coastal home.
Garden Gate
This scent was designed to be bright, warm, and welcoming. Featuring notes of sunny citrus, green leaves, and a warm woody base, this scent will fill your space with a happy, gentle fragrance, like a gentle breeze on a warm sunny day.
The Containers
A garden is such a joyful place, full of life and beauty, and I wanted to create a playful, modern take on the classic garden and floral candles. I chose terracotta pots in a classic and gray color, and paired them with scents that are fresh and new, creating a new modern classic garden candle.
I also wanted to bring the colors of the garden indoors, with green, pink, and magenta being my inspirtation. Green and pink is a classic Spring color combination, and the colorful wax is beautifully displayed in the modern low bowl style of the glass multi-wick tumblers.
Mixing classic colors and scents with playful, modern containers gives new life to the classic garden candle and brings a wonderful sense of style into your home.
My Philosophy of Luxury
In a nutshell, I'd say my philosophy of luxury is that it is all about quality and intention. Quality over quantity everytime. And just because something has a high price tag, doesn't mean it's necessarily better, conversely just because something has a super low price doesn't make it a better deal.
True luxury lies in the quality of the materials and the workmanship. At Thimble & Hearth we pride ourselves on using the highest quality, tested and clean materials - for a beautiful and safe burn everytime. We pride ourselves on scents that are beautiful, but never overwhelming. We pride ourselves on crafting an artisanal home fragrance object that is stylish and beautiful, and never boring, because we are all about helping you create a space that reflects your personal style.
The quality of your sensory experience is our highest goal, and we aim to do that consistently and with style.
